Re: what are those styles in the download bin

Nevermind I figured it out.

I used to belong to a couple of groups on "eGroups".

All I had to do was to convert the normal e-mail address to something special for Yahoo.

One of those big "rather silly" things.

Could the author of those styles gives us some clues.

Some of style names are obvious as to what was intended but some leave you wondering.

There's nothing like complaining when you get something for free.
And there's nothing like trying them out to see what they sound like and
what tempos they might be best (to your ears) at.

You can always rename them to something more meaningful after you have

Tried this as well, Steve. Doesn't seem to make a difference.<<<

Very mysterious. Can other people get the soloist to work over just a portion of the song ??? If so, then why can't you ???
It must be one of those software "twighlight zone" things.

Of course, one standard-issue suggestion would be to re-install the software to see if it fixes your problem.
(If computers were cars, you'd have to keep turning them off, get out, close the doors, get back in and restart them just to keep them working...)

Thanks for this opportunity to submit some ideas. I am definitely
interested in voting!

(1) New notation option which might be named "Strict Key Signature
Conformance"

When this option is selected, the key signature is king. Regardless
of
the chords, if a note agrees with the key signature it will not be
displayed as an accidental. The note "B" in the key of Gb would
show as
a dot on the C line (Cb). "F" in the key of F# would show as a dot
on
the E line (E#). D#/Eb in the key of E will always be a dot on the
D
line (D#).

(2) Major bug fix effort

There would be a general "call for bugs". Users can submit every
keyboard shortcut that doesn't work; every style that doesn't
correctly
play Augmented chords or doesn't have the rhythmic basis that is
reported in the style window; all the little things that aren't
quite
right. Magically, they will all go away in version 11.

(3) Ability to close tuner window without using the mouse.

I can open it without mousing; now I want to close it!

Is there a program like this? It seems kind of pointless to have a midi
router like the MOTU micro express, if you have to go back and forth to
daisy chain all the synths together to get it to work with BiaB. I noticed
on the selection list (for BiaB out port), there is a choice called Midi
Mapper, but I am not sure where in my system it is pointing to.
